Mike Hall is based out of Conway and is someone I have followed for many years. He shoots a wide variety of scenes and travels a lot due to his job. His work is fun to follow because you never know what he is up to. This meeting will be on October 19th, starting at 6:30 PM. With October being the month of Halloween, the monthly challenge will be “Haunted.”
Kim Godfrey will be presenting photos from her Orangutan conservation trip to Indonesian Borneo and then Bali in 2014. I have only heard a few details from her trip, but it will be a great show to watch. This will be on September 21st, starting at 6:30 PM. September’s photo challenge is “Silhouettes.” Hope we see you there.
Ed Cooley will be our January guest speaker. Please come join us to see his many photos from his travels around the world. The meeting will be on January 19th, starting at 6:30PM. As we do each November, we will be meeting again to watch Tim Ernst’s photo presentation on November 17th at 6:30P.M. This year’s show is titled “Arkansas – In my own backyard” and will be located at Windsong Church of Christ in Maumelle. The address for WCoC is 3 Windsong Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72113. If you have not been before, I suggest using some type of navigation device to help locate the church. It will be dark and is very easy to drive past the road. This presentation normally does not last too long, so do not worry if you want to be home by a decent time. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bobby Burton will be speaking this month and sharing some of his favorite images from places he has traveled. As always, our meeting will begin at 6:30PM. The monthly challenge for members involves taking a photo of a building or buildings. Hope to see everyone there.
Join us this month as Linda Henderson and myself discuss night sky photography. We will dive into all of the basics to help others learn how to avoid the most common problems. As we dive further into the topic, nighttime panoramic techniques will be explained. Everything from taking the shot, stitching, and how to begin processing. Please come join us!
